This cub was shot at WHF, Kent, in August 2013. Here he was 3 months old, I will be going again to photograph their progress.
I have been hot footing it around the country again and gone from tigers, lions and bears to the tiny sized cuteness of Harvest mice. This litte chap was photographed at Upcott Grange Farm, Lifton Devon. The farm is a water vole conservation area and it is where the BBC filmed The Borrowers which was shown on BBC2 earlier this year.
I went to Gloucester to photograph a Polo open day at Longdole Polo Club. So exciting! The shots can be seen in their facebook gallery in the link below. Watch this space as there will be more!
Sorry that the blog has been a little silent, but I has been super busy, from the Highlands of Scotland with grouse to the East Coast with tigers to the Mendips with kites, bat flash workshops and tiger cubs etc. keep an eye on on here and 500 PX to see what else I've been been up to.
It is widely regarded that Gorillas don't like water, they don't need to drink it as they have enough succulent in their diet to sustain them. Gorillas aren't always adverse but it is understood that they will avoid water, hence being on Gorilla Island and surrounded by moats in captivity. This either disproves the research or maybe we have an otter cunningly disguised as a gorilla? Check out my News page for examples of articles that reported my moments catching these photos.
More gorgeous Big Cats to shoot, just fabulous subjects. Check out the gallery for more big cat photographs taken this week.
Gorgeous Maine coon Kitten, a pedigree competition cat, they don't come much more gorgeous than this.
I think this one thinks I am dinner, busy week and I'm prowling around my photos preparing for a major upload
Just on a high I will update the gallery more when I have caught my breath. But just for cuteness check out this snap from my day with the big cats!
I have booked a day photographing big cats in Kent in the next few weeks, watch this space, very excited and can't wait to show you the images and tell you all about it.
Loving the new Mark III, with 300mm lens, great focus tracking. I really enjoyed the kite station and will be going back again soon. Need to keep practising following the dives to pick up a really sharp shot.
